Emergency Lighting Testing

Emergency Lighting, according to the Building Regulations 2000 and the Fire Precautions (workplace) Regulations 1997, must be installed to give illumination of a sufficiently high level to ensure that all persons can evacuate premises in the case of an emergency.

All emergency lighting systems must comply with BS 5266-1 code of practice. All tests, depending on the system installed, should be carried out on a daily, monthly and annual basis with certificates issued whenever these tests are performed.

We are able to install and maintain emergency lighting systems. These tests are carried out by fully trained and certified engineers and therefore provide you with reassurance of meeting all building regulations.
